OK, let's talk about the Note View.
[00:00:03.0]
The note view is great for annotations during a slide show.
[00:00:08.0]
It doesn't actually preview with the slide. As you can see we opened up petshowslideshow.key to work with this lesson.
[00:00:18.0]
So, the note view is not displayed during the preview of the slide. It's simply for your use.
[00:00:28.0]
I'm on the 3rd slide. And we go to the View menu to turn on notes, and I apply my notes - and you can annotate the slide show.
[00:00:38.0]
We'll go to slide two and we'll type our notes. Select the first slide, and you could see the notes are only here
[00:00:52.0]
to let you know. And, you can print out the notes.
[00:00:56.0]
So you can use them as a handout, or a sheet of paper, to actually describe what your slide's going to be.
[00:01:06.0]
So when you talk about you have an idea of each slide, and what to cover in your presentation.
[00:01:12.0]
I can open up the Inspector for a moment, and we'll just move this out of the way for the time being.
[00:01:17.0]
If I go to the File menu, I can print outlines, which is nice.
[00:01:25.0]
I could also change the size of my slide show, and a dialog box appears.
[00:01:32.0]
I could change this to 640 x 480.
[00:01:34.0]
But the problem is if I change my slide show right now, the graphics and the content will not match.
[00:01:42.0]
Once I click OK, you'll see exactly what I'm talking about.
[00:01:46.0]
Here you are - the content fits much less on the left and the content that's outside does not fit, and we can undo that.
[00:01:55.0]
[00:01:57.0]
